Meet Niji from FilmNeverDie. Niji is the camera that will replace all your disposables for ever. Disposable camera pictures have a very distinct look that a lot of us love but they do come with a lot of drawbacks.
The main one is that most single use cameras actually go straight to landfill and are not recycled like it used to be in the 90s as it is often told.
Niji is here to change that. Niji means rainbow 🌈 in Japanese and like FilmNeverDie says: it’s time for us all to show some colour back to Mother Earth as we enjoy our film photography.
Niji will give you all the features you love from your disposable (grain, vignette, fill in flash = your typical « film look ») while being easy to reload and reuse as many times as you want! This will keep the disposable experience alive while allowing you to experiment with different film stocks.
On top of that FilmNeverDie partnered with One Tree Planted to plant a Tree for each Niji camera sold.
Batteries are not included but we have plenty AAA available for free in store so don’t hesitate to ask. ;)
Kiro with 400 ISO Film: Kiro 400 being no longer available you will receive your camera with a random roll of ISO 400 film perfect for the use in a Niji. Film will be either Ultramax 400 or Fuji Xtra 400 depending on our stock.
Pre-loved Niji, to further reduce waste more people decide to stop using disposables in favour of Nijis.
Because of this we often rent out Nijis for special occasions and events. We load them up with film and they come back for developing.
Pre-loved Niji’s are these cameras that have been used once or twice for a wedding, a birthday or a baby shower and then come back to us. They usually come with the original box and accessories but can display some minor signs of use. They are a great way to start film photography on a budget while being eco-responsible!
