The Minolta XE-1 is a camera with an electronically controlled shutter. This means you will need 2x LR44 batteries to be able to operate the shutter.

It uses Minolta SR-mount lenses.

The Minolta XE-1 is one of Minolta's most iconic cameras. Developed in collaboration with Leica, it shares many of its features with the R3; it's safe to say that the XE-1 is a beast of a camera.

The XE-1 is an easy-to-use camera with aperture-priority or full manual modes. It takes amazing (underrated!) Minolta MD and MC lenses (SR-mount) and even has TTL metering! We absolutely love this camera and cannot recommend it enough.
