Description:
The Nikon F-801 is a camera with an electronically controlled shutter. This means you will need 4x AA batteries to be able to operate the camera.
It uses Nikon F-mount lenses. You will be able to use all F-mount lenses from early non-AI series until the recent D-series. Later lenses will still mount, but you will not have control over the aperture.
The Nikon F-801 or N8008 was one of Nikon’s best cameras upon release, closely tailing the F4. With its full-metal chassis, it is built like a tank and will never fail on you. Add to it a max shutter speed of 1/8000s (!), a built-in motor drive and a wealth of shooting modes and you'll understand why it's one our favourite electronic SLRs.
