The Nikon F4 is a camera with an electronically controlled shutter. This means you will need 6x AA batteries to be able to operate the camera.
It uses Nikon F-mount lenses, both manual and autofocus.
As the new member of the professional Nikon F line, the F4 quickly became the top news and sports photography camera after its release in 1988. It featured autofocus, metering and an impressive 5.7 frames per second in continuous mode.
It’s a professional no-nonsense camera and it was built to last. We especially love it for the lens compatibility. The F4 can use almost any F-mount lens, from the old pre-AI manual focus Nikkor lenses from the 1960s to the modern AF-D and G-series lenses.
