Description:
The Minolta SRT 101 is a fully mechanical camera. This means it does not require batteries to operate the shutter. The battery is only used the power the camera’s light meter.
It uses Minolta SR-mount (MC) lenses.
The SRT 101 is an all-mechanical workhorse of a camera. It's simple to use and it was built to last. Whether you're a student or you're a hardcore travel photographer, this camera won't let you down in the field. We love Minolta MD and MC lenses and we definitely love shooting them on this SRT!
Due to the age of this camera and the nature of old light meters we can’t guarantee that the light meter still works. This isn’t an issue as the camera will function perfectly without batteries. To meter a scene before taking a picture we recommend using an external light-meter or a light-meter app on your phone. Alternatively you can use the foolproof sunny-16 rule.
