The X-300 is a camera with an electronically controlled shutter. This means you will need 2x LR44 batteries to be able to operate the shutter.
It uses Minolta SR-mount lenses. This camera comes with the really good fixed aperture 35-70mm Minolta MD Zoom lens. It’s a good quality zoom that will cover pretty much all situation!
There's a lot to love about Minolta X-series cameras. The X-300 is no exception. It's a super simple camera, with aperture-priority or full manual modes. It takes amazing (underrated!) Minolta MD and MC lenses (SR-mount) and even has TTL metering!
