All cameras come with 6 months warranty.
Due to the age of the Nikon F we cannot guarantee that the photomic meter works or meters accurately. We recommend using an external light meter or metering app!
The Nikon F is a fully mechanical camera. This means it does not require batteries to operate the shutter. The battery is only used the power the camera’s light meter.
It uses Nikon F-mount lenses.
The Nikon F is the most iconic Nikon. It's a true workhorse of a camera, the trusted companion of photojournalists and press photographers in the 1960s and later. Many famous and award-winning photos were shot on the Nikon F. It's a modular camera, meaning that you can swap out prisms, backs and focusing screens to build the perfect camera for your photography style!
The Apollo edition Nikon F features an ergonomic plastic tipped winding lever, much like the F2. This was a big improvement on the original thin metal lever.
Due to the age of this camera and the nature of old lightmeters we can’t guarantee that the light meter still works. This isn’t an issue as the camera will function perfectly without any batteries. To meter a scene before taking a picture simply use an external light-meter or a light-meter app on your phone (we recommend Lux or myLightmeter), alternatively you can use the foolproof sunny-16 rule.
