The Nikon F100 is a camera with an electronically controlled shutter. This means you will need 4x AA batteries to be able to operate the camera. (If you use it with the MB-15 grip, you'll need 6x AA batteries.)
It uses Nikon F-mount lenses, both the old AI or AI-S manual lenses and the newest autofocus lenses.
