Description:

The Nikkormat EL is a camera with an electronically controlled shutter. This means you will need 1x 4LR44 battery to be able to operate the camera.

It uses Nikon F-mount lenses.

The Nikkormat series was Nikon's semi-professional camera line of the 60s. The Nikkormat EL was extemely popular in its day. It was Nikon’s first auto-exposure camera and has many specs and features found in professional cameras. It has a sturdy all-metal construction and even features mirror lock-up, which was extremely rare for consumer cameras back then. 

The aperture priority and match-needle exposure makes this camera super easy to use and learn on.

PS: if you struggle to find the battery compartment, it's underneath the mirror. Don't ask us why, but Nikon made this weird design choice.
