It uses Pentax K mount lenses.
The Pentax KX is one of the successors to the iconic Pentax Spotmatic, along with the K2 and the KM. The KX is a true full-mechanical SLR. We love the KX for how simple and reliable they are and how repairable they are when damaged. They are a great system for students or beginners. The Pentax K lenses are amongst the best ones on the market.
Due to the age of this camera and the nature of old light meters, we can’t guarantee that the light meter still works. This isn’t an issue as the camera will function perfectly without batteries. To meter a scene before taking a picture we recommend using an external light-meter or a light-meter app on your phone. Alternatively you can use the foolproof sunny-16 rule.
