The standout feature is the Color Solinar f/2.8 lens, which is fast for a camera this size and produces clean, natural results. Exposure is fully automatic, so the camera handles aperture and shutter speed for you, and the motorised film advance and rewind keeps things moving between shots. One thing to know before buying: focus is manual, set via distance markings on the lens barrel, using simple zone settings for portrait, group, and landscape distances. It is very easy once you get the feel for it, but it does mean this is a step up from a fully automatic point and shoot. There is no built-in flash, though an external flash can be attached. A compact, well-made camera for someone who wants a bit more involvement in the shooting process without going all the way to an SLR.
