Description:

The Vivitar V4000 is a light and compact manual SLR, made by Cosina and perfect for anyone who wants to learn photography step by step. You choose the shutter speed, aperture and focus yourself, giving you full control over every photo. Small lights in the viewfinder guide your exposure, making manual shooting easy to understand even for beginners. The shutter is fully mechanical, reaches a fast 1/2000s and keeps working without a battery, which only powers the light meter. Thanks to the Pentax K mount, it works with a huge range of affordable lenses, just like the Pentax K1000. The 55mm f2.2 lens gives a natural view with clean, pleasing results for portraits, street photos and everyday life.

How does a camera end up here?

1. Finding cameras

The journey starts with sourcing the right gear. We get cameras from various place. Most of the time people reach out to us to sell their cameras and if they’re good we’ll bring them back to the store.

2. Thorough testing.

Each item is then tested with professional testing equipment.

Cameras are then sorted internally into 3 categories:

1. Tested and passed.
2. To refurbish.
3. For parts.

3. Refurbished and cleaned

Here comes the most important step. After being tested each camera is cleaned and refurbished by our team of skilled technicians.
This goes from the compulsory light-seal change to the full CLA and electronic repair.

We want to make sure your camera to function as new.
