Description:

We like the 35-EE for being a compact, honest, and well-made rangefinder from 1976 that is very easy to enjoy. The 38mm f2.7 Chinonex lens is a touch faster than many of its contemporaries and produces sharp, characterful images with good contrast. Exposure is fully programmed via a CdS meter, with shutter speed and aperture displayed on a needle in the viewfinder so you always know what the camera is doing. Focusing is done through a coupled rangefinder patch, and the depth of field at 38mm means most everyday distances are covered without too much adjustment. There's a self-timer, a hot shoe for flash, and a PC socket too. A compact, reliable, and charming rangefinder that suits everyday street and travel photography very well.
