The Fujica GE is a compact and pocketable automatic camera from the mid-1970s that does one thing very well: get out of the way and let you shoot. The 38mm f/2.8 Fujinon lens sits between a wide angle and a standard focal length, giving a natural, versatile field of view that works well for street photography, travel, and everyday moments. The fully automatic CdS exposure system handles shutter speed and aperture together across a wide range from 4 seconds to 1/800s, which is broader than many cameras of its era. There are no exposure controls to set, just frame the shot, half-press to meter, and fire. Compact, light, and quietly capable, it's a straightforward camera from a time when Fuji made some genuinely good glass.
