Description:
The Pen FT is one of the most remarkable cameras ever designed, and the 38mm f1.8 F.Zuiko is the lens it was born to be paired with. Released in 1966 as an upgrade to the original Pen F, the FT has the same brilliantly compact body, the same rotary titanium shutter that syncs with flash at every speed up to 1/500s, and the same Olympus Pen F mount with its superb range of Zuiko glass. The 38mm f1.8 is a classic double-Gauss design of 6 elements in 5 groups, equivalent to approximately 55mm in full-frame terms, sharp, well-corrected, and characterful wide open. Each 36-exposure roll gives you 72 shots in the half-frame format, and the whole combination fits comfortably in a coat pocket. A beautifully made, historically significant camera that is still a genuine pleasure to use.

Due to the age of this camera and the nature of old light meters we can't guarantee that the light meter still works. This isn't an issue as the camera will function perfectly without batteries. To meter a scene before taking a picture we recommend using an external light-meter or for you to take our online course that will teach you how to use a film camera without the use of any external tools.
