The zoom control runs at two speeds depending on how hard you press the button, which is borrowed from video cameras and makes it quick to frame precisely. There's spot metering alongside the standard automatic exposure, the LCD panel is backlit for easy reading in low light, and the body has light weatherproofing for a bit of extra peace of mind outdoors.
