Introduced in 1991, it has an 8-element zoom lens in 7 groups covering 35-70mm with a minimum focus distance of just 0.6m, which is close enough for genuine macro-style shots without any accessories. The feature set goes well beyond what you'd expect at this level: bulb mode with and without flash sync for long exposures, multi-exposure, interval shooting at 3 and 60-minute settings, dual frame self-timer, daylight sync, backlight compensation, and an infinity focus mode. The zoom flash adjusts its output as the lens zooms, and the two viewfinder LEDs keep you informed of focus and flash status at a glance. At 240g without battery it slips easily into a pocket. A brilliantly capable little camera that rewards anyone who takes the time to explore what it can do.
