The Praktica MTL 3 is an iconic all-metal, all-manual film camera. It's built like a tank and virtually indestructible. The versatile M42 lens mount gives you access to plenty of affordable, good quality glass. This is the perfect no-nonsense camera for those who value reliability.
Due to the age of this camera and the nature of old light meters we can’t guarantee that the light meter still works. This isn’t an issue as the camera will function perfectly without batteries. To meter a scene before taking a picture we recommend using an external light-meter or a light-meter app on your phone. Alternatively you can use the foolproof sunny-16 rule.
