Description:

The TLA-140 is the flash that was designed specifically alongside the Contax G system, and it shows. It’s compact and light, sitting neatly on the G1 or G2 without throwing off the balance of the camera. The TTL metering works directly with both bodies, so exposure is handled automatically without any guesswork. It’s well suited to fill flash in daylight, indoor shooting, and close-up work, covering lenses from 28mm upwards. The titanium finish matches the G system bodies, and the head tilts upward for bounce flash when you need softer, more natural light. A solid, no-fuss companion for everyday use with the G series.

For everyday use, I usually recommend Kodak Gold 200 or Kodak Ultramax 400 as both are super versatile, offer beautiful, rich colours, and are quite forgiving.

If you’re looking for black-and-white film, Ilford XP2 400 is a great option for ease of use and rich exposure latitude. Alternatively, Foma 100 is also great and will give you a bit more contrast and a grainier look.
