Description:

The Canon FTb QL is a fully mechanical camera. This means it does not require batteries to operate the shutter.

It uses Canon FD, old FD, FL and R-mount lenses.

The Canon FTb QL is a highly underrated alternative to the Canon A series. It’s a beautiful fully mechanical SLR, compatible with the same FD lenses. The Canon Quick Load system makes it quick and easy to load with none of the hassle. Perfect for beginners or those shooting quickly on the go.

Due to the age of this camera and the nature of old light meters we can’t guarantee that the light meter still works. This isn’t an issue as the camera will function perfectly without batteries. To meter a scene before taking a picture we recommend using an external light-meter or a light-meter app on your phone. Alternatively you can use the foolproof sunny-16 rule.
