Darkroom Tour - Discover the Mori Darkroom (experienced printers only!)
Darkroom Intro Session (20 minutes).
If you already know your way around a darkroom but have never stepped into ours, you’ll need to book a quick 20-minute intro session.
You’ll meet our darkroom master, get the tour, and we’ll show you how everything works.
This session is for you if:

You have darkroom experience and feel comfortable printing.

You’ve printed before but it’s your first time using the Mori Darkroom.
If you’re totally new to darkroom printing or haven’t touched an enlarger in years, please book our beginner workshop instead:

Once you’ve done this intro, you’re all set and free to book the darkroom whenever you want.
This tour is multilingual and can be given in French or English.

I understand—it can be overwhelming to choose with so many options available.
For everyday use, I usually recommend Kodak Gold 200 or Kodak Ultramax 400 as both are super versatile, offer beautiful, rich colours, and are quite forgiving.
If you’re looking for black-and-white film, Ilford XP2 400 is a great option for ease of use and rich exposure latitude. Alternatively, Foma 100 is also great and will give you a bit more contrast and a grainier look.
