Description:
The Yashica FX-3 Super 2000 is a fully mechanical camera. This means it does not require batteries to operate the shutter
It uses a C/Y-mount lenses that give you access to the best of Yashica lenses and the amazing T* Contax series of lenses, including this ridiculously sharp Zeiss Distagon 35mm f2.8 lens.
This camera is a reliability master. It is fully mechanical and built on a metal chassis. It has a shutter speed going all the way up to 1/2000th and the covers are mode out of sturdy plastic that help to keep the camera super light.
Due to the age of this camera and the nature of old lightmeters we can’t guarantee that it still works. This isn’t an issue as the camera will function perfectly without any batteries. To meter a scene before taking a picture simply use an external light-meter or a light-meter app on your phone (we recommend Lux or myLightmeter), alternatively you can use the foolproof sunny-16 rule.
