Description:

The Canon FD 15mm f2.8 is an ultra-wide prime lens that delivers dramatic perspective and expansive views without going into full fisheye distortion. With its bright f2.8 aperture, it performs well even in low light and gives shooters room to play with depth of field (something rare in such a wide lens.) Ideal for architecture, interiors, landscapes, and creative compositions, it captures sharp details from edge to edge while keeping lines and perspective under control. Smooth manual focus and Canon’s solid FD build make it a reliable, inspiring lens to use.

This copy is new old stock, boxed and unused, making it a rare chance to experience one of the most exciting wide angles in the FD lineup in pristine condition.

I understand—it can be overwhelming to choose with so many options available.

For everyday use, I usually recommend Kodak Gold 200 or Kodak Ultramax 400 as both are super versatile, offer beautiful, rich colours, and are quite forgiving.

If you’re looking for black-and-white film, Ilford XP2 400 is a great option for ease of use and rich exposure latitude. Alternatively, Foma 100 is also great and will give you a bit more contrast and a grainier look.
