Each image is 18x24mm, shot in portrait orientation, and pairs of frames sit side by side on the negative to create a natural diptych that many photographers find genuinely satisfying to work with. The 30mm f/2.8 Color Apotar lens is a solid performer for its era, and the automatic exposure system reads the light via a selenium cell and adjusts the aperture accordingly before you press the shutter. A green light in the viewfinder confirms there is enough light for a correct exposure, red means you need flash. Zone focus keeps things quick and simple, with icon-based distance markers for portrait, group, and landscape distances.
