The shutter is fully mechanical and works without any battery at all. The QL Quick Load system on the back makes film loading notably quicker than most cameras of the era and the 50mm f/1.8 FD lens is a sharp and versatile standard lens that pairs naturally with the camera for portraits, street photography, and everyday use.
