The Prima Super 115u is one of the last film compacts Canon ever made, and it shows in how refined it is. Released in 2003, it packs a 38-115mm zoom with an aspherical lens element into a body that weighs just 195g and measures barely over 10cm wide, which is unusually compact for a 3x zoom. The aspherical element keeps sharpness consistent across the full focal range, and the 5-point autofocus with selectable spot AF handles most shooting situations accurately. A real-time shutter release mode cuts shutter lag to just 0.03 seconds, which makes a noticeable difference when shooting moving subjects or candid moments.
