Due to the age of this camera and the nature of old light meters we can’t guarantee that the light meter still works. This isn’t an issue as the camera will function perfectly without batteries. To meter a scene before taking a picture we recommend using an external light meter or for you to take our online course that will teach you how to use a film camera without the use of any external tools.
How does a camera end up here?
1. Finding cameras
The journey starts with sourcing the right gear. We get cameras from various place. Most of the time people reach out to us to sell their cameras and if they’re good we’ll bring them back to the store.
2. Thorough testing.
Each item is then tested with professional testing equipment.
Cameras are then sorted internally into 3 categories:
1. Tested and passed.
2. To refurbish.
3. For parts.
3. Refurbished and cleaned
Here comes the most important step. After being tested each camera is cleaned and refurbished by our team of skilled technicians.
This goes from the compulsory light-seal change to the full CLA and electronic repair.
We want to make sure your camera to function as new.
4. Ready for a new home! With a warranty of course.
We then sell these beautifully restored cameras to you, but just to be 100% certain we also give you:
- A 6 months warranty certificate.

Testimonials
Super efficient and super friendly place that you can trust with your most beloved films. They have a very streamlined development system that you can order online (but I usually like to come in person to chat a little bit). And they also have a very good supply of nice and rarer films, definitely worth a visit if you're into analog photography.
They're a great lab that does incredibly high-quality development and scans - great color and resolution! I also took advantage of a promo they gave out for 10 free prints and was really impressed by the vibrancy. They have a dropbox near Bourse that made it super convenient for me to drop off film there and then go to another film shop to buy film - because the shop itself is sadly not in the most accessible location for me but I could still get there to pick up my negatives and prints. I could not partake this time around but they carry some cool stocks, particularly Karmir. Their processing of Phoenix 200 was surprisingly good even though they don't carry it themselves (they really should though!). Their B&W scans were also quite good. Their customer support is also quite accomodating. The price was reasonable though the processing took quite a while - keeping in mind this was the "summer rush." Overall, I'm quite happy and I'm excited to use Mori again next time I'm in Brussels.
The medium quality scans are very sharp and detailed, they also quickly help you if anything went wrong. I had a roll of black and white scanned with borders. First they forgot to scan the borders but after a message they fixed it the same day!
I've been getting my film developed here for a year, the results are great. They have many film drop boxes around the city, so it is very convinient to be able to drop of film for devolping any time of the day. The form is easy to fill in and I like that there are options for different quality scans. I also did one of their B/W dark room courses, it was a fantastic experience. The staff are super friendly and helpful. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Just received the dropbox link with my scanned pictures... My jaw has dropped on my desk. Beautiful work! 5 stars for all the effort, trying to make my random pictures look nice. Even better, they look amazing! Highly recommended!
The people are always super helpful and will tell you everything you need to know about your prints! Extremely high quality scans, and during the summer they may take a little longer to get them back to you but it’s extremely worth it!
Top quality and superfast film developing at reasonable rates, a wonderful selection of film and refurbished analogue cameras, a cool community darkroom space, regular photography exhibitions and fun photo walks run by the friendliest, most knowledgeable team you could ever hope to meet. Oh, and great music in-store too! Mori is a vibe.
Not to sound biased but they are literally the best film developers ever. From quick service to high resolution scans to fun chit chats, these guys got it. Need advice? Mori! Need film rolls? Mori!! Looking for a comfortable environment? Mori!!! Same day developing and scan?! you guessed it, MORI!!! They’ve earned themselves a loyal and permanent customer since day one! Thanks guys, much love! <3
I have been bouncing from "lab" to lab for the last 6 years trying to find a place that combines both fair prices and decent, reliable results. Mori does not only provide a compromise, it redefined what I thought was possible in current times. In short, their prices for development and scanning are more than fair (some of the lowest I have seen in Belgium), turnover is nearly always <48 hours for C41 and the scans are 99% of what I envisioned 99% of the time. Between the 25 rolls I have had developed by them, no weird inconsistencies were present in my negatives and the scans from their Frontier scanners deliver realistic (although romantically analog) and vibrant colours. I have added some example scans from them (zero edits by me) that hopefully convey the excellent quality you can expect. Moreover, the young minds behind Mori also heavily push for the community and longevity of analog photography through events, courses, and they sell unique and small film manufacturers. Hence, they are the proof that analog photography is not only 'still alive', it has truly been reborn.
Five stars for everything! I got some off results, I asked them to check the negatives and they were kind enough to check and give me some information based on the negatives. It was a problem from my camera that caused the light leak, however I appreciate their high quality service. Processing time is also quick, scans are high resolution and only for €10 for devscan is really good price. Kudos to the whole team!
Sent my film on mail and I just got back the pics. Love it! love the quality and the price is super affordable
fast developing & really kind staff 🫶🏼 The quality of my pictures looks very good! I hope i can visit they’re shop one day :)
Loved the staff they are really helpful also scans where great and the camera I bought from them came in a excellent condition.
Very nice place for dev and scanning of films. Quite quick and good quality. They also have a stock of films and second hand cameras.
A friend of mine who studied photography recommended me this place. I had found my dad's film camera in the attic after 10 years and felt like giving it a try. I developed my first film here, the team is friendly and very helpful. The scans came out really nice and smooth, try their black frame option! I'm very happy with the results I got. You can tell these people are passionate about their job. Def coming back. Thanks Mori team :)
Mail in dev and scan, simple and quick process. The scans are really good even though they scan with frontier which is not my first choice for black and white film.
Mori is a great place to visit if you're curious about film photography and looking for a nice community to be a part of. I took part in the black and white film development course and spent a great afternoon in the company of Francois and my fellow classmates. Always look forward to having an excuse to swing by the shop if I'm in the area!
These folks are sweetest crowd! Top notch scans and prints handled with great attention to detail
I love this place so much! I send in my film to get developed and I have never had a better batch sent back to me. They are so quick developing too!
