The camera is fully mechanical with no battery, no meter, and no electronics to fail, just a coupled rangefinder, a precise leaf shutter, and one of the finest medium format lenses ever put in a fixed-lens body. The EBC Fujinon 90mm f3.5 is sharp, contrasty, and consistent from corner to corner, equivalent to roughly 40-45mm in 35mm terms. The leaf shutter syncs with flash at all speeds, and the GW690 II adds a hot shoe over the original model. You get 8 frames per 120 roll, which is exactly the kind of discipline that changes how you think about each shot.
