Released in 1992, it was built and tested to the JIS Class 4 weatherproof standard, meaning it handles rain, beach spray, and splashes without any worry. The 35mm f4 Konica lens is fixed focus with a sharp range from 1.1m to infinity, and a close-up button adjusts the flash for subjects between 1.1 and 1.6m, which is a practical and thoughtful feature. Exposure is fully automatic and the built-in flash is switched on manually, giving you control over when it fires.
