The Mamiya 645 1000s is a camera with an electronically controlled shutter. This means you will need 1x 4LR44 battery to be able to operate the camera.
It uses M645 manual focus lenses.
The M645 1000s is a user favourite medium format film camera. It’s small and light (yet has an all-metal build), which makes it ideal for someone that wants to get into medium format cameras without lugging around a 2kg camera. The M645 1000s also has a self-timer and a handy 1/1000s shutter. The Mamiya lenses are amongst the greatest on the market and the viewfinder very bright. What else could you ask for?
It is very intuitive to use an the 6x45 format is quite a big jump in quality from 35mm film while still giving you 15 shots per roll.
