The Nishika N8000 is unlike anything else in film photography. Introduced in 1989, it houses four fixed 30mm lenses in a row, all firing simultaneously at 1/60s to capture four slightly offset images of the same scene in a single press of the shutter. Each shot occupies two frames of film, giving you 18 exposures from a standard 36-exposure roll. The four images can be scanned and animated into the distinctive wiggle GIF effect that has made this camera a cult favourite on social media, or used to produce lenticular 3D prints. Three aperture settings cover sunny, cloudy, and indoor shooting, and the hot shoe accepts a flash for low-light use. This example comes complete with the dedicated Nishika Twin Light 3010 flash unit. An unusual, fun, and genuinely unique camera that produces results you simply cannot get from anything else.
