These promotional novelty cameras were hugely popular across Japan and Southeast Asia in the 1980s and 1990s, commissioned by major brands to be distributed as gifts, prizes, and marketing tools. The design here is striking, with Pokka's bold graphic branding faithfully reproduced on the cylindrical body. It takes standard 110 film cartridges, which are still available through specialist suppliers such as Lomography, so it remains a usable camera as well as a display piece.
