We like the 35 RC for packing a genuine coupled rangefinder and proper fully mechanical handling. It’s one of the smallest 35mm camera bodies of its era and the smallest true rangefinder ever made. Introduced in 1970, it was at the time one of the most compact rangefinders with automatic exposure control available, and it still impresses today. The E. Zuiko 42mm f2.8 lens is sharp, well-coated, and produces images with real character.

Due to the age of this camera and the nature of old light meters we can't guarantee that the light meter still works. This isn't an issue as the camera will function perfectly without batteries. To meter a scene before taking a picture we recommend using an external light-meter or for you to take our online course that will teach you how to use a film camera without the use of any external tools.
