It is on the larger side for a point and shoot, which actually makes it comfortable to hold and easy to use for extended outings. The 38-76mm zoom covers the range you reach for most often, from relaxed wide-angle shots to portraits with a bit more compression, and the autofocus is quick and reliable across that range. The built-in flash is worth a mention too: it has several modes including a night mode and a multi-flash mode that fires four rapid bursts in a fraction of a second, great for creative or low-light shots.
