The 38-140mm range is genuinely versatile, covering wide group shots and travel scenes at 38mm all the way to a proper telephoto at 140mm for portraits, wildlife, or picking out details at distance. The 10-element lens delivers consistently sharp results across the zoom range, and the autofocus system switches between passive multi-zone and spot metering depending on what the scene requires. The clamshell body protects the lens without a cap or case, the LCD panel shows flash mode, frame count, and battery status, and mid-roll rewind is available when needed.
