Description:
The Pentax 6x7 is a camera with an electronically controlled shutter. This means you will need 1x 4LR44 battery to be able to operate the camera.
It uses Pentax 67 mount lenses.
The Pentax 6x7 is yet another iconic medium format camera. You might have spotted it in Lost in Translation, and a few other movies. It's a behemoth of an SLR, with a satisfyingly loud shutter slap. The Pentax 6x7 was known as the portrait and wedding photographer's friend. It's big but the lenses are tack sharp, with plenty of character and beautiful bokeh.
The Pentax 6x7 shoots 10 6x7 frames per roll. We've paired it with the legendary 105mm f2.4 leaf shutter lens (equivalent of a 55mm f1.2 on 35mm). This is one of the fastest lenses of any medium format system. Being a leaf shutter lens it’s perfect for studio work as it allows flash sync speeds up to 1/500th.
The Pentax 6x7 has a focal plane shutter, making it better suited to natural light or outdoor photography.
