The ME Super is one of the most capable compact SLRs Pentax ever made, and it remains hugely popular for good reason. Introduced in 1979 as a direct upgrade to the ME, it added full manual control and pushed the top shutter speed to 1/2000s, all in the same small, lightweight body. Aperture priority lets the camera handle exposure while you control depth of field, and manual mode gives you complete creative control via the camera's distinctive up and down push buttons rather than a traditional dial. The viewfinder LED display shows the selected shutter speed at a glance.
