The 48-point autofocus system covers a wide area of the frame, making it far more capable than the basic single or three-point systems found in most point and shoots. Super macro mode allows you to get as close as 40cm. Multiple exposure and automated interval shooting at up to 60-second intervals are features you rarely find at any price in this category. A full set of scene modes including portrait, landscape, and macro, plus a programmable flash with five options, and an LCD that displays the current focal length and shooting mode make this a genuinely well-equipped camera.
