Introduced in 1992, it packs an impressive 8-element Super Macro zoom lens in 7 groups into a solid, practical body, and the feature set goes well beyond what most compacts of this era offered. There's a Fuzzy Logic shooting mode that automatically adjusts focal length, flash, and shutter speed to prevent camera shake, a macro mode focusing down to 60cm, multiple exposure, interval shooting, continuous shooting, a bulb timer up to 60 seconds, and portrait zoom. The infrared autofocus is reliable with focus lock, and the LCD panel on top gives a clear readout of all settings. It is a larger and heavier compact than average, but that comes with genuine capability. A very well-specified 1990s point and shoot with a lot to offer.
