Most similar cameras from the 1970s, like the Canonet QL17 or even the more common Yashica Electro GSN, use a 40 to 45mm lens. This one goes wider, which makes it a better fit for street photography, travel, or any situation where you want a bit more of the scene in the frame. The camera works on aperture priority, meaning you choose how much light comes in and it handles the rest. The viewfinder is bright and the rangefinder patch is easy to use, which makes focusing quick and satisfying. It is compact, well built, and a real pleasure to carry and shoot with.
