Released in 2004, the EOS 300X was Canon's final consumer-level 35mm SLR. It built upon the advanced autofocus and auto exposure technology introduced in the earlier EOS 300V model. The 300X offers a very fast 1/4000 top shutter speed, 7-point autofocus system, and 35-zone evaluative metering for perfectly exposed shots in various shooting conditions.

Despite its advanced features, the 300X maintains a compact and lightweight design, weighing approximately 370g. The camera has an intuitive control layout, making it incredibly easy to operate for photographers of all skill levels.
