The Rolleiflex 3.5F is a fully mechanical camera. This means it does not require any batteries to operate its shutter.

Say hello to the coolest of cameras: the TLR, or twin-lens reflex. A TLR uses one lens to focus, while the shooting is done through the second (and bottom) lens. It is a very good system for 6x6 (square format), as it allows for a very compact and lightweight medium format experience.

The Rolleiflex is the icon of TLR design. Built by Franke & Heidecke, the first Rolleiflex saw the light in 1929 and became a pioneer of engineering. This particular model, named the 3.5F, was produced in 1971. It is a testament of German engineering that, almost 60 years later, this camera works like it did on day one.

The Rolleiflex 3.5F has an impressively sharp 75mm f3.5 lens. It is very easy to use and the viewfinder is bright enough for most situations. We recommend the 'flex for people who love photography and want to invest in one of the most joyful cameras to ever exist.
