This is where you will be kept up to date about all the events happening at Mori Film Lab. Our priority is to create an active space for the local film community and we can’t wait for you to be a part of it!
📸 We host free community photowalks. This is a great way to meet other local photographers, try out new cameras, swap film and more!
Whilst we normally organise these walks in Brussels, we'll definitely be holding some in Gent, Antwerp and other cities!
The photowalks are completely free and are usually held on a Sundays.
The walk normally leaves from our store in Brussels, giving you the chance to grab a roll of film before we head off.
📆 Next photowalk: Mau 27th !
Let go explore Laeken together! 🏰

Workshop - Black and White Developing Class
Getting your film developed at a lab can get expensive, so why not learn to develop your film at home?
Our developing classes are usually held on Weekends, once every two months. Our classes cover everything from the differences in film types and developing methods to the effects of using different chemistry to change your results.
This is great class for beginners or even as a refresher course for those who have done it in the past!
Love exhibitions? Love shooting film? You're in luck! Our community exhibitions are a great way for photographers to get their first prints out into the world.
The exhibitions have a set theme or an open theme. All submissions must be shot on film, but the film does not have to have been processed with us. Keep an eye out on the theme for the next exhibition and get shooting!
Community exhibitions are free to enter, so come on down and say hello!
Each month we select one of our favourite pictures taken by our customers to help spread their work.
And this months’ #morifilmlab award goes to... @valerie.debacker!
« I captured this portrait of my best friend having a rest near a Mallorcan beach last summer. It was one of the first rolls of kodak gold 200 I shot with my contax g1, which I bought from a seller in Italy a couple of weeks before. Photographing intimate scenes of my friends in their surroundings is how I got into photography more than 10 years ago, and it's still what I find most exciting about it. Capturing small gestures with an analog camera makes me more aware of the moment, the light and the colours around me while adding this nostalgic and recognisable feel to the scene. »
