The Nikon FE is a camera with an electronically controlled shutter. This means you will need 2x LR44 battery to be able to operate the shutter.
It uses Nikon F-mount lenses.
The FE has always been a favourite among Nikon shooters. As one of the first electronic SLRs produced by Nikon, people loved its extremely accurate meter and auto mode. The steel body is tough and can take a bump without weighing a tonne. We can't recommend the Nikon FE highly enough.
