LomoChrome Metropolis 100-400 35mm film

€16,99

Lomography LomoChrome Metropolis is consumer and experimental film stock. High contrast, fine grain and low saturation. The perfect grunge look.

Unlike LomoChrome Purple, Metropolis has a more subdued effect. It is thus a lot more versatile. The unique low saturation and high contrast look makes it perfect for someone looking to try something different than the classic Kodak and Fuji films. The film is rated at 100 to 400 but we find it truly shines at around 200.

We recommend this film for more overcast days, street photography or indoors flash photography. We also love it for a dirty, grunge portait session.

I understand—it can be overwhelming to choose with so many options available.

For everyday use, I usually recommend Kodak Gold 200 or Kodak Ultramax 400 as both are super versatile, offer beautiful, rich colours, and are quite forgiving.

If you’re looking for black-and-white film, Ilford XP2 400 is a great option for ease of use and rich exposure latitude. Alternatively, Foma 100 is also great and will give you a bit more contrast and a grainier look.
