Description:
The EOS 1000 is a camera with an electronically controlled shutter. This means you will need 2x CR123 batteries to be able to operate the shutter.
It uses Canon EF-mount lenses.
The EOS 1000 is an earlier and simpler EOS model. It has all the modes and automation of later models but it doesn't have the built-in flash. The 1000 is a great camera for photographers who want an auto-exposure and autofocus SLR but don't't need the bells and whistles of high-end ones.
