Description:
The Hanimex 35SL is a fully mechanical camera. This means it does not require batteries to operate the shutter. The battery is only used the power the camera’s light meter.
It uses M-42 screw mount lenses.
The Hanimex 35SL is an all-metal, all-manual film camera. It's built like a tank and virtually indestructible. It has a very minimalist designs that’s built just for one thing; taking photos. The versatile M-42 lens mount gives you access to plenty of affordable, good quality glass. This is the perfect no-nonsense camera for those who value reliability.
Due to the age of this camera and the nature of old light meters we can’t guarantee that the light meter still works. This isn’t an issue as the camera will function perfectly without batteries. To meter a scene before taking a picture we recommend using an external light-meter or a light-meter app on your phone. Alternatively you can use the foolproof sunny-16 rule.
