The F-301 is a hidden gem. As the successor to the Nikon FG it was the first Nikon SLR that didn’t have an advance lever. The F-301 can read DX-coding, making it a breeze to shoot on the go. It can be shot in full manual mode or in aperture priority, program or high-speed program modes.
